Spreading Christmas Cheer

Sarah and I have been on a mission this week! A mission to spread Christmas cheer in a creative way. A mission to give back. A mission to give beautifully.

One particular organization caught our attention. They are HomeAgain. Their mission is focused on homeless veterans, families and individuals in Richmond, Virginia. HomeAgain offers emergency and transitional shelters, but what’s so unique are the programs they provide for their residents, designed to build skills and increase self-sufficiency. This Christmas, HomeAgain will provide each resident with Christmas gifts from their personal wish lists. Dear June was able to be a part of this too by providing gift tags for each of the resident’s gifts.

Take a peek below to see our creation, but more importantly we hope that you will get to know HomeAgain a little more by visiting their website: http://www.homeagainrichmond.org and facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/HomeAgainRichmond.

Emily & Matt: Wedding Suite

In honor of their 2 month anniversary, let’s take a look at the wedding invitations we created for Emily and Matthew!

You may remember Emily from our post detailing the Bridal Shower Invitations we created for her and again with this Friday Fetes post with fun photos from the shower. She and Matt are good friends of ours and we had such a blast coming up with the paper designs for their wedding!

For their wedding, Emily and Matthew were planning a beautiful outdoor affair in the country with the ceremony in a rustic barn and the dinner and dancing beneath a classic white tent. The style was rustic meets feminine and have fun incorporating the sunflower yellow color that Emily chose as an accent.

Here are a few shots of the details:

The guest information cards showcased a delicate lace pattern that contrasted nicely with the natural kraft paper. We also used twine to add a interest and attach the invitation and guest cards.

We chose a crisp white, linen-textured paper for the invitations. We used thermography for the ink for a high-gloss, high-class effect. By printing the names of the bride and groom in color, we were able to tie in the sunflower yellow accent color and give some extra attention to the happy couple!

We are so happy with how Emily & Matthew’s invitations turned out. Congratulations to Emily and Matthew- we had so much fun helping to make your big day memorable!

And a shout out to Tori with Marvelous Things Photography who photographed these images!

Have you met our Kraft Envelopes?

Hi there! Happy Spring!

We’re working on quite a few exciting designs today- a few weddings, 2 graduations, a bridal shower, and a baby shower! So many fun things going on in our clients’ lives!

Anyway, as we were developing an idea for the bridal shower invitation, we got to thinking about our ‘kraft paper’ envelope line.

Have we mentioned how much we love the collection of ‘kraft’ envelopes we use?

If not, then consider it mentioned! We LOVE ‘kraft’ envelopes- especially this girl here:

Look at her cute edge! It’s like someone took some pinking sheers to her hem. So fun.

In addition to envelopes, we’ve got some great paper options with this ‘kraft’ appearance. A few of our brides are planning ‘country chic’ weddings and we think this ‘kraft paper’ line will work beautifully with their paper details. We’re actually in the process of developing a wedding suite using ‘kraft’ cards and thermography that we’re really excited about! We’ll share it with you once it’s finished!

Have a lovely afternoon!
